Upload product image results in error, please enter a valid url

I’m testing Ultimate WP Auction free version to determine if it’s a plugin I’ll be happy with. I just updated WP from 4.94.
I’ve been trying to upload a product image within the ‘Add new auction’ tab; however, I keep getting this error,’Please enter a valid url.’ Help, please.
