We’re looking to start using and building reports but we can’t see where in the tables is the data being saved. Can you let us know where we can find the location information for the item?

We’re looking to build reports of items by location as well as inventory reports so we can manage our inventory

    Hi shieldmanagement,

Thank you very much for your post.

I am very sorry, but can’t help you with this right now. The location info is just for reference right now.

We will be releasing fully featured locations add-on including reporting later this year.

Did you want to code the feature yourself?

Hope to hear from you soon.

    Best Regards,

    Pavel

We’re just looking for where the data is saved, like which table and column in the database. Usually these are in the postmeta.meta_value area which works but is a pain.

I’m assuming there’s a link to the location we save in the post or postmeta for each product which references the postid for the category of the location name. We’re just looking for what that info’s called.

We use various reporting tools to pull information directly from the database so we can build reports. We need to be able to add the inventory location on inventory reports so we can manually verify the item stock and location.

Do you not know where your data is stored?

    Hi shieldmanagement,

The locations are just standard WP taxonomies of the post type product, so it works like any other WP taxonomy.

The name of this taxonomy is atum_location

If you want more info about how taxonomies are handled in WP, I suggest you to read these Codex articles:

    Best Regards,
    Salva.

Thank you!!! we found the term table and were able to link the postID to the termID and select only atum_location. This allows us to build reports for inventory as well as pick lists. Cant wait until you guys release more features.
