    Hello,

I have just realized that for three days now, people who wish to subscribe and be informed of new articles in my blog are no longer receiving the email with the clickable link of confirmation.

What can I do to unblock this situation?

    Christophe.

  • We checked out the Jetpack connection for this site and it was OK.

Also, we were able to successfully subscribe to your site and received both emails.

If you’re still getting reports of this, please have the followers in question check any spam folders their email provider may offer for the emails you referenced.

If the problem is only limited to a few followers, you may want to have them contact us, as well:

We will be happy to help them.

    Good morning.

    thank you for answering.

I have been in contact with the support in the meantime who explained to me where the problem came from: I didn’t know that if a person made a request, that they didn’t click on the confirmation link and that they would come back later to re-apply, then they wouldn’t have a second email with a confirmation link.

Now I understand better why some Internet users couldn’t subscribe.

Thank you again and sorry for the inconvenience.

No worries, and thanks for the update!

Yes, once a person signs up with an email address, even if they confirm the subscription, they cannot attempt to use that same address to sign up at a later date. This is to prevent spammy signups.

    Hello Cena,

Now I can explain this to my readers who are complaining about not being able to register with their address. :o)
