Don’t understand how to use on Click button

    I’m not understanding how to make links on my site that will trigger a popup. I’ve added the shortcode [wd_hustle id=subscribe-to-our-email-list. type=popup]Click here[/wd_hustle] to my site and nothing shows. How do I add the popup to a link or custom button that I made using the theme’s tools. I’m sure I’m completely missing something, but I can’t find any instructions on HOW to do it.

    Hey @macsout,

    Hope you’re well.

    We have already reported bug about that clickable link shortcode. So to use it you should wait for the update, that we fix this issue. But you can still use click to show the popup with custom links or buttons.

    First place a button you want on your page and you need to add class or id to that button. It can be a various way based on your theme uses regular WordPress editor or any page builder. For example, to add link with id on WordPress editor Text tab you can use this code;
    <a href="#" id="open-popup">Open Popup</a>

    Then you need to place id (which is open-popup for this case) into Hustle popup trigger id field with “#” before it;

    If you are using any caching plugin or system please purge the caches before trying again. After that try on page.
