Scheduled backup wrongfully identifies site as http instead of https?
-
Hi,
When i try to restore a backup which was automatically made while i was nog logged into wordpress, i get this warning:
This backup set is of this site, but at the time of the backup you were using http, whereas the site now uses https. As long as your web hosting allows http (i.e. non-SSL access) or will forward requests to https (which is almost always the case), this is no problem. If that is not yet set up, then you should set it up, or use the migrator add-on so that the non-https links are automatically replaced.
Fact is, my site ís https, and always has been. But when checking the backup log, i see it starts with this line:
0000.000 (0) Opened log file at time: Tue, 13 Feb 2018 21:42:42 +0000 on http://verbeteronline.nl
The bizare thing is, when i MANUALLY backup, or a scheduled backup is made while i AM logged into WordPress, the first line of the log is as follows:
0000.000 (0) Opened log file at time: Wed, 14 Feb 2018 16:42:05 +0000 on https://verbeteronline.nl
and there is no warning.
So the question is, why does UpdraftPlus think the website is http instead of https when it backups automatically & i am not logged into wordpress?
I am puzzled that something is wrong which may have an impact on backups down the line. I hope somebody knows how this happens.
Regards and thanks in advance!
