Hi all the great developers and coders of Wordfence,

Finally, Wordfence took into consideration all comments requesting the return of the “One page for all options”.

It’s refreshing that an owner of one of the most downloaded WordPress extensions is moving backwards and taking into account user requests. It is all to his credit to make such a step; it’s almost unprecedented history.

In addition, tagging the displays and messages to be translatable is another achievement, although it still lacks a few hundred tags for the moment.

Currently, I am translating Wordfence into French because there are about 200 million people who speak French in the world and it is certain that there are many who administer Wordfence.

Thank you 60,937,005 times for the translation tags,

    TuteurWeb.

Thanks! I’m not sure that this is accurate though.

“It’s refreshing that an owner of one of the most downloaded WordPress extensions is moving backwards and taking into account user requests.”

We have always listened to user requests and we knew soon after Wordfence 7 released that a unified options page was something the community wanted. But instead of just giving you the same options page as before the new one is a huge leap forward in functionality. Sure, it has all the options divided in sections for you to look through but my favorite part is the really cool search feature at the top. If you aren’t sure where an option might be type in a word or two to get suggestions that will take you straight there.

For instance type “locked out” and you’ll see links for ‘Alert when someone is locked out from login’ and ‘Amount of time a user is locked out’ appear.

Internationalization has been on our minds for some time now and we are trying to move in that direction. This, of course, is no small task, but as recent releases show we are making progress towards this goal slowly but surely.
