Events in a public calendar, marked as “default visiblity” are not shown in the calendar. The events must all be marked as “public” separately in order to them to be shown in the calendar.

I repeat: The calendar is public and events can be viewed publicly in Google Calendars. However, this plugin doesn’t pull them, if each event is not marked separately “public”. The events have to be changed from “default visibility” to “public” one by one, so it’s a lot of work.

    Can this be fixed?

When I changed the default visibility to public, it still wasn’t showing up. Did you find any solution?

    Hello sramos14,

For me, changing an event to public seemed to work. It just took a couple of cache clears first.

However, this isn’t a solution, because my client has a busy calendar. There are too many events to manually change to public. I haven’t found a way to bulk change them in GC.

Have to use the Google’s own embed on the site, can’t use this. ??

I’m having the same issue. Is there a way to solve this problem. It’s reaaly annoying me.
When i add the official Google code (iframe) to my website it works perfectly but not through the simple calendar plugin. It only appear when each event is set to public.

    Please help!!!

wordpress is up to date as well as the plugin.

UPDATE: The issue hasn’t been resolved in the latest version 3.1.17.

The Google embed continues to work, this plugin doesn’t pull the events that are marked “default visibility” (when default is public). The plugin and WP are updated to the latest versions.
