I have had an error message on my Instagram feed since yesterday saying I need to obtain a new access key. When I click on the Instagram feed plugin settings, it says Maintenance mode come back in a minute. I have deactivated and reactivated the plugin but still no change, I’m not sure what else I can do

    Hi @livruff,

Sorry to hear about the issue. I just tested this and it seems to work as expected, so could you try it again now and let me know if you still have the same issue?

    Many thanks,

    John

Still the same issue John. Might have to delete the plugin and reinstall to see if that makes a difference

    Hey Olivia,

Sorry to hear this is still happening. We haven’t had this issue reported before and so it might be related to something else on your site. I have a few questions for you and some things to try:

    1) Does this same message appear anywhere else on the site?
    2) If you’re using a caching plugin then could you clear the cache?
    3) Could you try either clearing your browser cache or using a different browser?
    4) Could you try temporarily deactivating all other plugins on the site to see if one of those is the problem?
    5) If you have FTP access then could you check for a .maintenance file in either your WordPress root directory or in the ‘instagram-feed’ plugin directory and delete it? There’s more info on how to do this here.

I’m sorry that you’re experiencing this issue, but let me know whether any of the above helps.

    John
