Sale Dashboard Terrible After Update

    Hey,

    what’s up with this new woocommerce sales dashboard after the lattest updates? If it was bad before now it’s basically unusable. All I see is the buyers name, time of order and amount. I can’t mark it as sent from this part and can’t even see if it’s a completed order as all blue/green icons have gone as were other icons on the right where I could mark as complete or preview order.

    This can’t be right, it’s like going backwards.

    Ideally you would have all what was there before but have the items ordered in the middle section rather than the buyers address. When I go to mark things as sent I don’t do it by buyers name of what I’ve just packed up but by what the items were. So I used to have to preview each order to see what the items were, takes ages. As does when I’m printing orders. I can use one pluggin for the pdf invoices, but then have to go into each item individually to print the address sheets.

    Ebay’s system is much more intuative. Where you can see the name and description on the dashbaord. Then bulk print order sheets with the buyers address. Then bulk mark things as sent without even having to expand view that order.

    cheers, I’ll take a look. I was looking in settings but nothing.

    No problem. There’s still a few things I don’t like about it but it’s a lot more usable now!!

    Yeah it’s still pretty messed up. The actions icons are all messed up. There’s no status icons showing even though they are enabled. This new preview part doesn’t work well as it doesn’t scroll so you don’t really get the use from it. Bad.

    Again , why can’t it have the option to see what the items were in the order. I just don’t see how seeing their name and address is of a greater importance.

    Really… how so more usuable in your opinion? Maybe mine is glitched ??

    I’ve got a web guy here in my building, he has all these great ideas and wonders why I want things a certain way and thinks I’m dumb for it. Difference is, I’ve got to use it he hasn’t huh ??

    Not experiencing any of that – I had to flush browser caches on all our machines to get it working right though. But the preview is working ok (nice that you can change the order status in it). The only real issue I have is with a custom order status plugin we use – the ones created in it don’t show in the Actions column or the preview. Hopefully the author will update soon!

    We also use a PDF invoice plugin too – the icons from that do appear in the Actions column fortunatly!

    I thought the status symbols were part of woocommerce? I’ve lost those and yeah I’m looking at stuff with no a clue what I’ve left to do :/

    I have the pdf invoice action buttons and now added the delivery label actions buttons. I can at least bulk print the pdf invoices but have to individually print the labels one click at a time.

    I honestly don’t get why it’s not got a really good dashboard that does it all and well.

    They are – the standard WooCommerce ones are there, just not the custom ones.

    lol – I’m the web guy here – and like you say, the people who actually use it day to day are the ones who notice the changes! Fortunatly for me, the changes haven’t caused too much hassle!

    thanks for your help, after deleting the cash the new update took hold. New processing status icons and an eye preview icon, before it said preview. That works now and is a little better I guess ?? I use one pluggin for my pdf invoices and another for the shipping labels. It seems its the shipping label basic version that means I can’t bulk print them until I go premium. Least I placed an icon to the summary page now for it so I dont have to go into every sale and print it from there.
