Wanted: Flickr-plugin that does what I want (no sidebar widget)
-
I’ve been scanning through the different Flickr-plugins that you can find here on www.remarpro.com and I’m having a hard time finding one that does what I want. I really didn’t see this coming as it’s such a basic feature that I’ve seen on many sites, but I guess I’m blind of just plain igonorant (if so, I sincerely appologize).
What I’m looking for is simple. I don’t want to find a way to add Flickr-photos to my blog posts, and I dont want a widget or anything like that. What I’m looking for is a simple plugin that prints out the last 9 of my flickr-photos as thumbnails (which I can alter the looks of with CSS). That’s it. But most of the plugins I find either makes me able to post flickr photos directly in my post, or consists of ‘widgets’ that appear in the sidebar, and only in the sidebar. I don’t want a foolproof widget, I want to be able to put the Flickr-stream anywhere I want on the site (or more precicely, in the footer) and I haven’t found a plugin that lets me do that. But since I’ve found several sites that looks like they’ve pulled it off (like for instance: https://www.bartelme.at), I guess I’m just blind. So that’s why I’m reaching out to anyone out there: Where do I find such a plugin that enables me to put it in the footer and alter it’s looks with css? I’m down with xhtml/css, so it doesn’t need to be simple, but it needs to be flexible enough, and not just sit there in the sidebar with no way of moving it.
A huge thank you in advance for anyone helping me, and a equally huge excuse for asking such a dumb question. I know it’s dumb, I just can’t find what I’m looking for.
