    Hello,

I use the Cora theme for a website, Redux plugin seems mandatory for that.

I have several bugs in my WP backend (frontend works just fine):

    • I can’t upload images to the media library, it says “No field ID is set.”
    • I can’t can’t use the search function in the plugin or theme directory, it just loads all the time
    • Layout bugs in customizer view
    • General glitchy layout in dashboard and backend
    • Everywhere it says “No field ID set”.

If you deactivate the Cora Theme, everything works fine, if you deactivate the Redux plugin everything works fine too, so I guess one of these two are the problem.

Theme and plugin are both up to date.

    Thanks for your help!

I’ve heard other issues with the Cora theme along these lines. That message means they have not set a field ID for a particular option. You’ll have to contact the author of that theme. I do not have access to it, nor do we support themes that use Redux. If the theme author is able to replicate the issue and can offer us actual data that Redux is the issue, we’ll work with them to resolve the issue.

    Good luck.

    Hi,

I have the same issue. I’m using the Consultix theme. I had to downgrade the Redux Framework plugin to version 4.4.11. Starting from version 4.4.12, it caused the same issue in my backend. I would be very happy if you could check the plugin.

@quanle1003?– Please do not piggyback the tickets of others. I cannot replicate this issue. I can check the plugin all day, and it won’t make any difference as I cannot replicate the issue. I’ve used Redux in demo mode and with my own themes. Nothing like this occurs. As I have said many times, I have no control or any idea how other developers use Redux. Many don’t use it properly. It is impossible for me to support themes that use Redux. I do not have access to those themes. I also cannot fix what I cannot break.

Therefore, you must ask the theme user to replicate your issue. If they find it’s a Redux issue and have the evidence to back up the claim past any potential misuse, they need to come to us with that report, and we figure it out from there. That’s the best I can do.

Okay, there are questions I need to ask you that I am not permitted to do in this forum.

Please post this issue to our GitHub issue tracker: https://github.com/reduxframework/redux-framework/issues

It’s going to ask you for additional information. What I really need is the WP Health Report and and relevant error messages from the PHP error log or the dev console (for JavaScript)m if any. Please don’t skip that request. Something is interfering with Redux that I don’t have on any of my testing environments and I have to figure out what that is.

    Thanks.

Update to our current beta, v4.4.13.2 for the fix: https://github.com/reduxframework/redux-framework/archive/refs/heads/master.zip
