Preventing Duplicate Submissions Max 2

Hi, from this page (https://cfdbplugin.com/?page_id=904) I know how not to duplicate the subscriptions … but I wanted to know if it is possible to limit the subscription no more than 2.
1 yes, 2 yes… from 3 onwards… nope!
