Error on Upgrade to v0.8.0

I upgraded this via the Plugin section of the WP Admin console on my site. There were no warnings or anything and I have never had a problem with your plugin upgrades causing issues so I clicked “update”. Instead of the nice green checkmark I was given an error message. I tried to go back to the Dashboard home page and it was a blank white page. cPanel Error log showed me the error: “SoftException in Application.cpp:641: Could not execute script.”

I read your Changelog but have no clue how to implement anything you’ve stated to make the plugin function again. Is there a way I can rollback to v0.7.12?

If you’re reading this forum looking for a fix to this or a similar problem, a temporary solution to get your site and admin working again is to rename the Plugin folder from “event-list” to something else like “event-list-off”.
