Will plugin work or break starting Dec 11, 2018

  • Does this mean getting feeds of Users (IDs) of other users will not work or uncertain?

    Instagram announced some API changes, including this:

    The following will be available until December 11, 2018:
    (snip)
    Public Content – to read any public profile info and media on a user’s behalf

    Instagram API is being deprecated in favor of their newer FB Graph API.

    Hey @kevinyen,

    The honest answer is that we’re not 100% sure yet. Instagram just made this announcement and we’re in the process of finding out more information from them regarding specifics. The hope of the Instagram developer community is that they will add support for the public content endpoints to the new API before the old API is deprecated at the end of the year. We’ll have a better idea over the next few weeks as they answer questions and provide more information.
