Message delete on mobile

    Hello there,

    Great to see you included the mobile layout in your latest update. I am a huge supporter of this plugin and install it on every BuddyPress site I build.

    I just noticed two problems. Firstly, messages cannot be deleted on mobile. The little X won’t show. Perhaps an edit button to toggle those x’s would be good?

    Another current bug is that when a user clicks on an image, they cannot get back to the message. This is only on mobile, where you might want to view an image larger.

    I usually develop my own plugin modifications, but I just wanted to let you know because these are really important features to have working right.

    Click on a sent image in mobile. then you will not be able to get out of it

    I am using an iPhone 6s but this appears to be the case on all smartphones

    Also, the new mobile is excellent. But just as a suggestion. The little X used to leave the message window may not be entirely intuitive. Is it possible for the messages to be scrolled through with the main window? Forgive me if I am not phrasing this correctly.

    Hi there!

    Thanks for feedback about mobile version, I will continue improve it in the future, but there are more important things for now to implement.

    What about the images, they are opening in the new tab at the moment and users can back to chat if they switch they tab back. Just tested from iPhone 6s.

    Yes I agree there are more important things to implement. Its just a slight suggestion.

    As for the image, the user should not be redirected. Switching between tabs on mobile is not easy for any technically challenged person and is still cumbersome for normal people. Might I suggest something similar to lightbox as the perfect solution.

    Great! That I think is the best way to go. I really appreciate this plugin. It was honestly much needed and it’s nice to see a plugin being actively developed for once.
