Configuration Error

  • My contact form 7 settings keeps creating new configuration errors in the ‘additional fields’ after each submission.

    I’ve tried deleting what’s in the additional fields, save the form, and immediately two new on-sent-ok: commands will appear.
    These commands appear:

    on_sent_ok: “try {__ctm.tracker.trackEvent(“”, ” “, “form”); __ctm.tracker.popQueue(); } catch(e) { console.log(e); }”

    on_sent_ok: “try {__ctm.tracker.trackEvent(“”, ” “, “form”); __ctm.tracker.popQueue(); } catch(e) { console.log(e); }”

    I’m not receiving submissions from the primary contact — if I put a BCC email address in the add’l headers section, that email address receives the form, but not the primary contact.

    Do you mean the on_sent_ok lines are not added by yourself? If so, do you know what is doing that?

    No, if I delete them, then save the form they automatically reappear. If I make any other edits (for example to the body of the form) and save, the additional fields add more lines. I’m the only one editing them.

    I’ve also tried adding the DOM to the functions.php file, then delete the additional fields but it still recreates the on-sent.

    Also, submissions are not being sent on — the only way I can make it send the submission is to include the email address as an additional BCC

    Spooky! I guess one of the plugins or theme you use is doing that. What other plugins and theme do you use on the site?

    It’s a custom theme built off TwentySixteen —

    The other plugins in use are:

      advanced custom fields
      better search replace
      CallTrackingMetrics
      CF7
      custom post type UI
      Duplicate Page
      Rss Post Importer
      Search Autocomplete
      WP-PageNavi
      Yoast SEO

    All are updated

    OK — I’ve reupdated all the active plugins, now the additional fields messages aren’t showing BUT the emails are still not being processed to the correct recipient.

    The only way I can get it to send the email is to go to the additional headers section and add in a BCC: command to copy to the recipient.
