    I got one during the update today:

    ERROR: Deleting obsolete option “el_db_version” failed!

    Anything to worry about ?

    Thanks

    Can you please check in your database if the option “el_db_version” is still available in the WordPress options table?

    No, it doesn’t seem to be in wp_options.

    So it should be fine.

    But strange that this option was not available before the update.

    I checked my db backup of last month (2 weeks back) and that option definitely was NOT there.

    Well, as to me the backend doesn’t work anymore and returns this error message:
    Fatal error: Can’t use method return value in write context in /home1/……../wp-content/plugins/event-list/admin/includes/upgrade.php on line 39

    @miguelcortereal – You problem is this one due to problems with older php versions. This will be fixed in the next version released this weekend.

    How do I revert for previous version 0.7.5, so that the site may be running again, errors free and displaying all events as its supposed?

    You can find some information in this thread.

    Running now as always thanks a lot.

    By the way and for your information, my hosting company is Hostgator.

    @miguelcortereal

    Hostgator and ALL EIG companies are next to nothing, i’m afraid. Also update your PHP version to 5.5+ because all others are old and discontinued. PHP 7 if you can.
