We take privacy and security very seriously. We provide several ways to protect your customers information, but as with any WordPress plugin it is ultimately up to you how you choose to do this.
1) Right out of the box, Sliced Invoices gives you 2 easy ways to protect your quotes/invoices. You can mark them “private”, which means you must be logged in to view them, or you can even password protect them. You can do both right from the “Quick Edit” menu.
2) You can use just about any content-restricting plugin. There are many good ones out there, like Restrict Content. These are plugins specifically designed to close off certain portions of your site and keep them private.
3) We also offer a Secure Invoices extension if you want an easy, set-and-forget solution.
By the way, it is considered good etiquette to at least try contacting the developer of a plugin and asking questions before leaving a bad review. I don’t see any emails or support tickets from you, so please consider doing this next time. Plugin authors like me invest 100’s (or, in my case, 1000’s) of hours of our time developing plugins that the vast majority of people enjoy for free. I do sell some paid add-ons but I’m certainly not getting wealthy from it — mostly it’s reviews and my interactions with users that keep me going, or not. It’s really disheartening when someone trashes your work with a 1-star review without even so much as a conversation.
