Contact Form 7 with MailChimp extension – advanced settings not working

I have just released v1.5.0 with a workaround that I think should fix this kind of issue.

However, what we really need is a small update from the CF7 Mailchimp plugin author in order to make it compatible with this plugin.

Would you raise a new support issue on the Contact Form 7 Mailchimp extension support forum and post the link to that thread back in this thread ?

I think it would be more credible to have the request coming from a user than myself. I will then also post on that thread with a simple solution for the author to consider.

I was really hoping your workaround would work, but I’ve just tested it and it doesn’t seem to have, the issue is still there.

I visited the support forum for the other plugin, but there was no point posting anything as the plugin author doesn’t respond to issues posted on that page, only via direct messages. So I’ve tried sending a direct message and I’ve included a link to this page.

It’s just the ‘Show advanced settings’ link that’s not working for me, the only thing that has changed since your update is that it now looks like a link when I hover over it, whereas it didn’t before, but when I click on it nothing happens. The ‘Get System Information’ link right beside it works fine, and so does everything else in the plugin.

Strange that you are able to open it though … I tried everything, 3 different browsers, refreshing the cache, deactivating and reactivating your plugin … but nothing happens when I click the link.

You’re right, I goofed up and only fixed the loading of scripts for 1 set of extensions out there, the mailchimp uses another method which I hadn’t quite fixed properly in 1.5.0. I just fixed that in v1.5.1. Would you mind giving it another spin and letting me know if it works now?
