    Hi

    Thanks for the awesome plugin
I m using table press since a long time now but today in a new website,
I got a excel file with more than 3000 lines in it.
the issue is that inside the tablepress dashboard, the full table is displayed … could there be an option to limit the number of lines displayed with pagination in the dashboard ?

    thanks

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

No, sorry, something like this is not yet possible ?? I’m already working on a a redesigned “Edit” screen that will allow this, but that will still take time.

In the meantime, I recommend to manage/edit the table in Excel and re-import it as a CSV file after making changes, choosing to replace the existing version of the table in TablePress.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi

    Thanks for the quick reply
I’ll work this way until the new version with the editable dashboard display come ??

Should i mark the post as resolved since it s not possible in the current version ? or should i let this question open waiting for a input with the update from you ? (even if it s not for now )

    thanks

    Hi

another small issue i ve encounter because of my 3000+ table lines is:
I was wanting to adjust the table display editing by clicking the checkbox on a column to hide it like i do usually but since the checkbox is at the bottom of the table, i could not reach it yet ?? (maybe add also those checkboxes at the top ?
    )

it not currently possible to collapse juste the table, not the selection checkboxes, so the table has to be open to be able to select a column

some minor cases interface update suggestion ??

anyway thanks again for this plugin , it is great help .

    Hi,

only collapsing the table doesn’t really make sense, as this would only help with the column checkboxes.

To make such structural changes, just create a small new table (with the same amount of columns, but only a few empty rows). Then, change everything to how you want it (hiding columns, checkboxes for styling and JavaScript features, …), and then import your table from a file again, choosing to replace this new table.

    Regards,
    Tobias
