Twenty Seventeen Theme header height

  • Hi, it is not a new question but I don’t seem to find the clear answer. I have just installed the new wordpress and 2017 theme. During the setup I don’t find any setting to adjust the height of the homepage header image which appears to be excessively high for my need. Pardon me as I couldn’t find any straight answer in the forum :(. I do not want the header image cut in 50% or something like that, I just wish to use the designated image size e.g 1200 x 660 px. Any help is much appreciated. Many thanks

    The theme doesn’t handle focal points in the header image without major modifications. The header image was only meant for decorative images where it would not matter if the image was partially cropped. I would suggest using another theme if you need that level of control.
