• Hi!

I’ve been looking a plugin connected to Trakt.tv for ages, so I’m very happy to find yours. Congratulations and thank you very much for create this plugin.

I just want to show my last movies and tv shows watched via widget, so the functionality to create custom posts entries is too much in my opinion. (Also, that is not working for me, but as I said, I don’t care too much)

But I really wish to be able to get the vertical cover, instead of the horizontal cover from Trakt.tv. What do you think?
I want to add your widget next to other widgets that show my books read and music listened from other services, and the vertical cover will match much better. ??

    Thank you for your attention.

    Best regards.
    Teresa

Does it not work at all? Can you see the entries when going to Traktivity > All Trakt.tv Events in your dashboard?

That functionality is necessary for the widget to work, as it is where the widget gets its data from.

This would work for movies, but not for TV series unfortunately. Most TV shows have vertical covers for the show itself, but not for each episode. That would mean that the widget would display images for movies, but not for TV episodes.

Jeremy, thanks for your quick response!!!

Yes, all the entries are in the dashboard, the problem is that they are not showing ok in the front-end(/watched/worth-it/, or /watched/wargames/), I get a 404 (sorry for my english!!! :-P). I can’t show you online because I’m working in my localhost, with a self-made theme in progress, so maybe it’s my fault that it doesn’t work. Any way, I don’t care because I’m not intended to use this feature, I think I’ll disable the links somehow and probably I’ll be deleting the entries, I really watch too much TV. Hahaha!

Most TV shows have vertical covers for the show itself, but not for each episode.

I’d love to be able to choose. Even if that means showing the same vertical cover for every episodes.
It would be great for movies, that’s for sure. Oh! and the year it would be great also!!!

    Thank you!!!

It seems weird to me, I think you can’t recognize the movies and TV series so easily with the still photo than with their covers. ??

Could you go to Settings > Permalinks in your dashboard and save settings there, even if you don’t actually change anything on the page? That should solve the issue.

Ok. I’ve taken note of it here and will consider adding that option.

Do you mean to display the event’s year in the widget? Where would you display it?
