Guest Issue Reporting

Hello and thanks for your interest in using the IMC plugin.

The concept of Improve My City is that the citizen has it’s own issues uploaded, in order to observe their progression. Unfortunately you can’t report an issue if you haven’t been registered before.

@Mwiinga If @improvemycity approves I can upload my code which does exactly what you’re asking for.

@syncixc, I’d be very interested in that code, would save me an enormous amount of time, any help is greatly appreciated

Since our goal of this plugin is the transparency on information exchange between municipalities and citizens, the user registration feature is a core functionality.

Thus we cannot add to our codebase a feature where anonymous or no users contribute issues to the platform.

By all means though you can customize your installation with any extra features that you like, but be wary that in a plugin update, your custom features will be removed.
