Cant see published page HTTP 404 not found

    Hello,

    I’m working on my very first WP-blog and feel a bit lost in cyberspace. I want to make a couple of pages for some general information, I can see them when I hit preview when they are still a draft but everytime when I publish them, I get both in the preview aswell as on the website itself a HTTP 404 Not Found-error. What am I doing wrong? Many thanks in forward for any help!!

    Just saw that I also have this problem when people want to post a comment. They cant find the page.

    try resetting permalinks
    admin – settings – permalinks

    Did some rocketsience today….made my own .htaccess file. It was indeed missing! No pretty Permalinks for now, but I’ll work on that later! Thank you so much for your help Samboll!
