Wrong comments count on AMP pages

    Comments count on AMP pages is incorrect when pages has trackbacks. Trackbacks are not shown for some reason but comments count contains also trackbacks.

    I see, thank you for letting us know. I will make sure we create a ticket for this and fix this upcoming updates.

    I have a question though.

    Would you prefer to show the trackbacks or correct the comment count?

    Which one would you prefer?

    Hi!
    If I try to analyze things on practical side then I don’t think mobile readers are interested in trackbacks. Trackbacks often doesn’t provide enough information to attract readers to follow their links. So, I think correcting the number of comments is better option.

    Sounds good, I agree on that point. I have created a ticket ( https://github.com/ahmedkaludi/accelerated-mobile-pages/issues/1662 ) for this and will make sure that this gets included in the upcoming updates.
