Choose other folders to optimize?

    is it possible to select which folder to optimize (outside of media library), as some plugins store media elsewhere.

    Hello MBV (and Gore.m!),

    As we said to Gore.m, it will optimize according to the belonging to the Media Library. In which case of use do you have your pictures outside the media Library ?

    “Gmedia Photo Gallery” stores it in a folder
    /wp-content/grand-media/image/original/ (thumb).

    Imports images directly into these folders. Not to WP Media.

    Please keep exif in big pictures. I use both GPS and camera features.

    It’s an interesting feature, we’ll look into it ??

    The API is already managing EXIF preservation/destruction, it has to be implemented in the plugin.
