Endoding french

    I thought that you had integrated a patch but I have the problem again only with sending summaries of discussions in the groups. The other mails are well formed. I’m using mymail with UTF8 encoding

    Hi @hdcms – You said that “the other mails are well formed”. Does this mean that other BP emails are well formed (like @-mention notifications), or that other BPGES notifications are well formed (such as group activity updates)?

    Are the characters appearing correctly in the activity stream?

    You mention the word “summaries” – does this mean that the problem arises only with digests, or does it happen when immediate emails are sent (the “All Email” setting)?

    yes the characters appearing correctly in the activity stream and notifications too.
    No problem if sent immediately
    For the moment, I see only one problem for the summaries of group activities

    Got it – it sounds like something is happening during the digest process that’s causing the problem. I’ll try to reproduce.

    I have the same encoding issue with danish e-mails

    It is only in the digest e-mails.

    I just tested the e-mails sent for private messages, and there the encodig is correct.
