    Hi,

we have a german shop. the plugin is working fine for german orders.
but when we get an order from swiss or austria we are getting this error:
SOAP-ERROR: Encoding object has no ‘countryCodeOrigin’ property.

    any idea?

    thanks

    Hi,

this error might be due to the missing Country of origin information within your WooCommerce product catalog. To export a shipment out of your domestic countries, carriers as DHL require this information to ensure that your shipments do not get stuck in customs of the country you are shipping to. If you update the country of origin parameter for your items, the error should not appear again.

please let me know if this solved your issue.

    Thanks
    Frank

    Hi, thanks for your answer.
i added Germany as country of origin. now i am getting this error:
SOAP-ERROR: Encoding: object has no ‘customsTariffNumber’ property

    how to handle that?

    thanks

Perfect – one solved, one to go – so, this one is second attribute required for most non domestic countries – it equals the so called HS code number or Harmonized Standard Code of your products. Most countries require this as a description of what your imported item is. we are currently preparing a webservice to return those codes to you automatically. Until then, i would recommend you to check for those HS codes online and also add them to the product catalog within WooCommerce.

    Does this help?

    Cheers

that means that i have to download the HS Codelist from the German Customs page:
    Page:
    https://www.versand.internetzollanmeldung.de/iva/form/display.do?%24context=05C2266E953B0E0A7E1C
and download the “Full Contry Code list as TSV” (can be opened with any text editor:
    https://www.versand.internetzollanmeldung.de/iva/form/redirectToURL.do?%24context=05C2266E953B0E0A7E1C&url=%2Fcodierungen%2FVER%2F8.8%2Ftsv%2FC0008.tsv

then i need to choose and add the contry codes for Swiss = CH and Austria = AT to the HS Code field in Woocommerce? Do i have to enter also DE for Germany?

i really appreciate your help. i didnt find anything on google regarding this problem.

    thanks

    Hi again,

yes – thats the way customs data is normally required. In many cases, it is also accepted, if you just provide your local HS code (Germany) and provide this one to DHL. In case local customs does inspect the item they often convert your HS code into their Regional codes (e.g. in case you are selling into PRC). Since it is a standardized code, in many cases this is suitable. If you are not 100% sure on the full correct HS code (down to the smallest digit), the plugin should also accept the categories or sections above.

    Does this work for you?

    Cheers

    Hi,
i think i need to generate the HS Code here:
    https://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/dds2/taric/taric_consultation.jsp?Lang=de&Expand=true&SimDate=20180119

the problem is, if we send within the EU, from germany to austria we dont need this information to send a package. it is just not necessary because there is no TAX within the EU. but the plugin does not work (if we need to ship abroad within the EU) when the field with the HS code is empty.

maybe you can think of a solution for this EU problem.

for sending to Swiss we would need that information.

sorry. i meant: there is no CUSTOM (not TAX) within European Union.

The customs within the EU will be removed in the next version of the plugin, we hope to have this next week.

Please upgrade to version 1.0.5, this version excludes “export information” within the EU. Can you confirm this works for you?

    (@pandavisuals)

do i have to set something for this or is this working automatically within EU?

After you upgrade, you do not have to do anything, just attempt to create a label. Please let me know if it works.

i have a new error saying: Could not create label – The selected billing number is not available. why is that now?

    (@shadim)

Is that a translation? Can you paste the exact error code and possible take a screenshot?

i made an order with an Austrian Address. the error was like i already mentioned:
Could not create label – The selected billing number is not available.

with orders from germany i can still generate a label.

i noticed also that widget for an austrian order looks different then for a german order:

    austrian dhl widget: https://www.dropbox.com/s/9rl3vqmenlxvv3m/Austrian-labelfield.jpg?dl=0

    german dhl widget: https://www.dropbox.com/s/r870favn20tel18/German-labelfield.jpg?dl=0

    i hope this helps

the exact error is: Could not create label – Die ausgew?hlte Abrechnungsnummer steht nicht zur Verfügung.
