Your connection is not secure, can’t log in to dashboard
-
Hey,
I routinely clean my hard drive, deleting internet cache and cookies and temp files and recycle bin and the like. I did that tonight, nothing I haven’t done a million times before. Except for the first time I can’t get logged into my WordPress site. I click on the blue “Log in with WordPress.com” button and am taken immediately to a page that says:Your connection is not secure.
The owner of https://www.noapologybookreviews.com has configured their website improperly. To protect your information from being stolen, Firefox has not connected to this website.
https://www.noapologybookreviews.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is not trusted because it is self-signed. Error code: SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUERI don’t remember this ever happening since I started the site a year and a half ago. I don’t know what it means and I don’t know what to do to fix it. The only cause I can think of is maybe I deleted something I shouldn’t have, but I didn’t change any settings or options or anything when I cleaned, so I don’t know how that would have happened. The site seems to be accessible to the public, it comes up fine when I type in https://www.noapologybookreviews.com. It just won’t let me log in to the dashboard.
I’m using Firefox 57.0.4 and I’m connected to wireless internet via Frontier–I don’t think I’ve had problems with this wireless connection before. Let me know what else I can tell you that’s helpful. Thanks!
