• The resources monitor on the hosting provider shows red
    (498MB/512MB)
When I delete the cache it jumps back down to the green zone.
    For example (300MB/512MB)
My question is, is there an upper limit of the cache I can set?

it is a good idea but not a solution. Can you find out which folder has big size?
    /wp-content/cache/all/ or
    /wp-content/cache/wpfc-minified/ or
    /wp-content/cache/tmpWPFC/

    Wordfence did a scan.
Had to wait until memory was used up again, then I noticed that a wordfence scan ran a few hours before
    [Jan 20 05:35:42] Scan Complete. Scanned 7359 files, 28 plugins, 3 themes, 195 pages, 58 comments and 106418 records in 43 minutes 21 seconds.
[Jan 20 05:35:43] Wordfence used 16.27 MB of memory for scan. Server peak memory usage was: 20.27 MB

    – I do not have /wp-content/cache/wpfc-minified/ or /wp-content/cache/tmpWPFC/

    Size of /wp-content/cache/all/
    has
    6’847 items, totalling 324.4 MB
