Trouble with Microaudio plugin

    Hello,
    I’m a newbie to WordPress. I’m doing some testing and am trying to load an MP3 file to the site and I’m not successful so far and have tried all items I could think of and what was posted.

    I’ve added an “audio” file to the directory. The directory is as follows:

    /
    public_html
    wordpress
    wp-admin
    wp-content
    -> put “audio” here and loaded MP3 file used

    Downloaded the plugin and activated as needed. Did not make modifications to the settings – kept as initially loaded.

    Added the code [audio:Gettysburg_address.mp3] to the audio file and created a posting with the information:
    [audio:Gettysburg_address.mp3]

    Nothing happening.

    Suggestions?
