How can I specify another / a dedicated author

    Howdy,

    I would like to specify another authorname than the one, that created the download.

    I have the “change author” plugin installed, which works fine for posts and sites but which seems to be unavailable for downloads / custom posts.

    Any other way to specify another author?

    We do not have any experience with “Change Author” plugin. The name of our custom post type is “dlm_download”. I would suggest contacting them and asking them how to enable the plugin for our post type. Also, we’d appreciate if you would share the solution here to benefit other users with a similar question.
