Support Actual Email Piping

    Hi,

    Does this plugin support actual email piping or simply IMAP connection to mailbox ? Email piping being the routing of emails to a script ?

  • Hi Steve,

    Yes. WSDesk plugin supports e-mail piping. Means, your customer can simply sent a mail to your support email to create a ticket. Also, your customer can simply reply to the ticket e-mail to get the ticket updated. Hope it clarifies.

    Thanks – in which case where are the settings for piping to a script ??

    I cannot see them in settings etc.

    Hi Steve,

    Once you enabled IMAP from your mail and give the necessary details in WSDesk->EMail
    ->IMAP email setup, email piping will work fine.
