Thanks for that information, I will try and be more careful in how I phrase things going forward. But I think you have perhaps misrepresented the spirit of the rule. The rule is clearly designed to stop anyone just saying I will help for $5 etc. on every post (which i think would be horrible), but I am the actual developer of the plugin and there’s a pro version of the plugin which has more features.
I gave the answer to the original poster which is simply ‘no the feature isn’t available’, but to be more helpful to the user I offered that I can get the feature working for them with the purchase of the pro version. By stating that, am I not being more helpful to them than just leaving them in the dark without the feature or any possible pathway to get what they desire?
Because what they are stating isn’t easy to develop and it is a niche requirement. I get where you are coming from but I do think you are pushing the rule a bit too firmly in this case. But as I said I will find better ways to do this going forward by taking the discussion off the forum.
