Hover effects for the gallery thumbnails

Is there way to define different hover animation effects for the different gallery images ? I need to create gallery with some bigger thumbnails with general home photo and thumbnails of the home rooms on another gallery thumbnails. So I wish to use different hover for this big gallery image and another for the small photo thumbnails.
