Has it ever happend that this module broke the phpbb3 site?
Will it work for 3.2 version of phpbb3?
If you embed the forum, dont the urls change and become different? I am afraid it might affect the seo?
Will this plugin change the urls of forum content or will it affect the seo somehow?

that i’m sorry isn’t in a good Eng, but quite clear i assume. I will take a look to make it better before or later, if no help come out in the while!
Version 3.1 and any better is suitable to be used.
This is a WP plugin. It do not add NOTHING (except an user if he register in WP and you configure the integration to allow registrations in WP side) or change nothing in phpBB. All the code not go to modify nothing on both CMS. It only take care of users into respective databases and cookies, checking for their state and inserting when required, but phpBB and WP remains separated, completely, even if it not seem maybe to be possible, this is it.About seo: the WP page that display the phpBB, contain just an iframe (the phpBB loaded as iframe into the WP page). A spider will follow to check the forum at his real URL (that maybe you can link with a direct link somewhere into WP). No more no less.
The unique thought is what spiders see about widgets links, that all points to the WP page with the phpBB iframe.
For what my experience/sensation, it not go to broke nothing even in WP side, by the way, it is true that many links along the time are build into last topics widget with different urls (because they contain different topics ids, posts ids etc …).
This part, will be resolved with easy on next 1.8.0, where content of linked topics urls on widget, will be pushed to the iframe page with a little trick.
So each linked post/topic on last topics widget, will have into the WP page, his proper content and meta.If any other doubt just post!
I would like to finalize this topic, because i’m right now over to check what was possible to do about this:

In the case the widget is setup to show links that points to direct phpBB url (no iframe mode option activated for widget last topics) this obviously not affect nothing, because the link point to a direct resource that exist.
In the case the widget is with option active about iframe, so different created posts links on last topics widget points all to iframed WP page, i’ve re-think and check what can be done or not about and what implications: it is presumable, that will be better that several different urls not points all to the same page.
I have look around this morning about theories, and solutions to this problem in several contests. For what is interesting in this specific widget case, i’ve not found any good external hint, but i’ve think to a good solution once for all using JS/jQuery.So our SEO widget solution will be this: all links on widget, will display and point to the real phpBB posts urls, in any case, iframe links activated or not: but if iframe links option is active, then, onclick (adding a simple event listener will do our dirty nice work) the real link, will be changed by JS/jQuery, to point to iframed phpBB.
This will be applied definitively into next 1.8.0, so any SEO problem should be resolved, if there is one about.
P.s i’ve reset to not resolved this topic, until new fix has not been added.
