• I was creating a new WordPress blog (blog B) on my hosts server. Being a newbie I have overwritten my former WordPress blog (blog A) docs with the new docs. (insert favorite cuss words here). My database is still stored on my hosts server. I reloaded my old WordPress docs into blog A’s site, figuring I could reestablish a connection to my database, and reconfigure the blog with my theme. However I can’t get to the blog. I just get that blankety-blank 404 error message. Any suggestions of what I can do now?

Hey… figured it out. I remembered that my host put an index.html file in there that needed to be deleted so the index.php would work. Once I deleted that index.html file, my WordPress blog reconnected with the database and came back to life!
