I screwed up and added *.php to immediately block IPs that access this URLs. I’ve tried uninstalling Wordfence and reinstalling it. I still have the same issue. I know it was stupid, but I was not thinking that day. What do I need to change? I deleted WF, but I really want to be able to install it again and get it to work. Thanks.

  • Hi,
It’s okay, following these steps should get your website back to delete this rule and continue using the plugin:
    – Install Wordfence but don’t activate it.
    – Install “Wordfence Assistant” plugin, and choose “Disable Wordfence Firewall”.
    – Re-activate Wordfence, now you should be able to check the plugin’s options page and remove the rules you added.

    Thanks.
