Custom fee for one of shipping methods

    Hi there and thank you for the plugin.
    Can you please help me with setting custom fee for one of the shipping methods. I have set two methods 1 – PDP shipping, 2 – FedEx. I’d like to add insurance option as custom fee for Fedex only. So how can I check which method is active?
    if(method is fedex) {
    add custom field to checkout page;
    }

  • Hi Bruce,

    What I can advice you is to add another shipping method for Fedex, which will include insurance. There is no other simple way to do that what you want to achieve.

    We plan to work on adding additional cost (eg insurance) to the cost of packages, but it will be possible rather in the PRO version of the plug.
