• I just upgraded to WordPress 4.9.1
When I went to activate the plugins there is a Hello Dolly Plugin installed.
The folder for it is not showing up in wp-content/plugins with all the other plugins we chose to install.
How do I remove this from our page?
I followed the instructions above regarding visiting the plugin’s page.
There is no place to post a question or get help removing this plug in.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

can you share an image of the plugins as displayed in your dashboard?

The Hello Dolly plugin is “hello.php” in “wp-content/plugins”. It’s not in a subdirectory of plugins. It can be deleted from the dashboard like any other plugin.

    Thank you Steve,
The “dashboard” has not been working (all updates and things of that nature) for almost a year now. I have asked multiple times through the forums on how to fix the problem and no one has been able (or willing) to help me resolve the issue. I do all of the updates and management tasks through FileZilla.
