• I have configured WP Mail SMTP to send mail using my primary Email address. I know that it is configured properly, as I receive the test emails that Mail SMTP sends almost instantly.

    However, when sending mail through CF7, the email is never sent. After pressing send, I receive a green message stating “Your message was sent successfully. Thanks.” But the email is not actually sent. I have confirmed that nothing is being blocked by my spam filters, and nothing is being rejected by my SMTP mail server. It seems that WP7 is not actually using the SMTP settings I have in place. How do I correct this?

    Here are my current settings:

    WP Mail SMTP:
    From Email: [email protected]
    From Name: Echogy Contact
    Mailer: Other SMTP
    Sending Test Email to [email protected] — SUCCESS! The email is received almost instantly

    Contact Form 7 Email settings:
    To: [email protected]
    From: [Echogy Contact] <[email protected]> (using [email protected] results in a configuration error)
    Subject: Contact: [your-subject]
    Body: Message Body: [your-message]
    When pressing send on my website, a green success box is shown, but no email is actually sent. The SMTP server never receives an incoming message.
