Display date the way I would like it

I use the Pro version of PF on several sites. I am very pleased with it. But I have a small problem on a few sites with the way the date displays.
While one would expect the date to display following the settings on one’s site, it is not always the case.
This is my problem with two websites in French, the one below and https://www.orbis.info. Although my settings for the dates of posts are correct in my WP install (j F Y), and it shows correctly at the top of articles, instead of showing the date as “23 décembre 2017” as it should on a PF print or PDF document, it mostly shows as “12/23/2017”, which is not the proper order in French. Sometimes, it shows as “2017-12-23”, which would be acceptable to me, but it is not consistent.
I am pretty sure there must be a way to force PF documents to show the date the way I want (not on a specific page, but on all pages) – probably a piece of code to be placed somewhere?
