How can I Integrating local WordPress Blog with XHTML page

I have a public web site that is XHTML 1.0 W3C certified running Feedburner java script to post my Blogger.com blog on part of my main page (i.e., just the 3 most current titles). I put my WordPress blog into Feedburner, but their feed code is in XML which does not work even in my XHTML page. Is there another approach I can take in order for the WordPress blog to replace the Blogger.com feed on part of my main page?

WordPress is running in a “blog” directory that is under my “htdocs” directory that is the main directory of my web site. I am running Apache under Suse Linux.
