• Every time I try to upload a plugin or create some changes I get this nag.
    Unable to create cache folder. Is the wp-content writable?
    No cache data will be available.
    I look at it and seems writable so what next?

    Same Problem here, has anyone found a fix to this please?

    I’ve solved this by disabling WP Super Cache plugin. Strangely, it did not reduce load time.

    The plugin wasn’t caching so no wonder it didn’t reduce load time.

    I don’t know why the plugin couldn’t create the cache folder but the wp-content folder must have been read-only and not writeable. Did you contact your hosting support?
