• I am having a problem with my menu overlapping my footer. It works fine in IE, but in Firefox the menu extends well below the footer and the footer ends up being tucked behind the menu. Yes, I have searched both the support forum and google and all the solutions I have tried failed.
I was wondering if anyone could take a look at my index and css and possibly know whats wrong. Here is my site: https://crazy-ed.org/wordpress
    Thanks,
    Edward Rivenbark

  • You are using the ‘Human Condition’ template, and unfortunately that has a footer problem.
I would recommend some reading here:
    https://thebombsite.com/fullwidth/122/Layouts%201
Stuart also has some great – and well behaved – layouts.

Yes, I have tried this before and it did not work for me. I have tried several methods to fix this and as I stated before none of them have worked.
Can anyone see anything wrong with my index or css file?

We can all see what is wrong. The same thing is wrong that is always wrong with that style. If you (or the designer) positions the menu with absolute the footer will overflow. Always. Some time at the bombsite would reveal to you – a fistful of resources to put it right.

Ok, this has now been fixed. Thanks.

    Nice framing.
