No error message

    I installed contact form 7 yesterday and tweaked around it a little bit. I realized there we’re no error message showing.
    – Not adding wpcf7-not-valid to the field
    – Not creating element <span role=”alert”………..>Please fill the required field</span>

    Things I’ve done so far:
    – dequeue cf7’s css
    – only the pages with shortcode for contact form 7 gets the script.

    There were no errors on my page. The js is there.

    What am I missing?

    For future reference, I will answer my own question.

    The issue is fixed when I return the span that wraps the input field. I forgot to include it to the question.
