Send pdf invoice with order receipt?

    It seems that for the moment it is impossible to automatically send invoices to customers after they completed their order. All customers automatically get their order receipt, but sadly this one is not among the options to attach the pdf invoice to. This is unfortunate, since it means that the only way all customers that successfully completed their order can get pdf invoice is by manually e-mailing it.

    Could the option be included to attach pdf invoices to customer order receipts?

    Hello Roel,
    What do you mean by “Order Receipt”? Is this a custom email? All official WooCommerce emails are listed under Documents > Invoice.

    Hi Ewout,

    My bad, it seems this was actually the “processing” confirmation e-mail. This one is send to all customers right after completing and paying their order, so if I attach pdf’s to this one everything works smoothly.

    No worries, naming for WooCommerce emails is not really consistent yet so I can understand the confusion.

    I had the same problem. Could have never figured out myself that “customer invoice” e-mail could be “processing” in this plugin. Thank you for quick response. It was very much help.

    Hi! Glad to hear this helped you. I have complained about this to the WooCommerce developers before (inconsistency in naming is very confusing, sometimes especially in translations), but unfortunately this is not something I can do anything about from within the PDF Invoice plugin, so I am just listing the names as they are listed in the WooCommerce Email settings.
    The good news is that they do plan to do a big Email overhaul in the future, which should hopefully address this confusion.
