i am facing that error on php version 7
We’ve detected you are running PHP versions 7.0.26, 7.1.12, or 7.2.0. These versions of PHP have a bug that breaks NextGEN Gallery and causes server crashes in certain conditions. To protect your site, NextGEN Gallery will not load. We recommend asking your host to roll back to an earlier version of PHP. For details on the PHP bug, see: bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=75573

please tell me that to do

  • My host company set php back to 5. something (there are no 6. versions, went from five to 7). I know this may not be the best solution, but until Imagely fixes this, it’s the best advice I can offer.

@cohistorian @aliarslangorsi – This issue resulted from a bug introduced by PHP. The consequence of the PHP bug were severe so rather than risk running NextGEN Gallery we were deactivating it.

We believe we’ve now come up with a work around. This copy of NextGEN 2.2.20 should run with any version of PHP (including the bugged versions: 7.0.26, 7.1.12, 7.2RC6, and 7.2.0). Feel free to give it a try and let us know if you have issues.
