Youtube links in Shortcode columns

Hi there,

I’ve noticed that you can not simply put a Youtube link within a shortcode as the video won’t show on the front end (it shows the html link). The only work around I’ve found is to use Youtube’s embed code iframe. Is there any other way to get the simple Youtube links to work within the columns shortcode?
