Front Page Banner

Hi, I’m having a little problem with the top banner of “WP-Simple Theme” not resizing properly when the site is viewed on a smart phone. I would be grateful if anyone could shed any light on this problem. I have searched the forum and the internet for any solutions, but to no avail.
